About Carl's Cases

About a year and a half ago, I went to a computer show with my wife and girls. At the show, I saw a really cool black computer case, with a shaped window on the side and sound activated lights inside. The wheels in my head started turning. At the the show I got a blinking LED fan and a sound activated neon light. I got home and took apart my PC. I took off all the panels until it my PC was rested in it's chassis. My first tools were simple. A power drill, a pair of tin snips, and a file. I started cutting, and gouging, and drilling, and filing. My family thought I was crazy! Before long, I had all my holes cut. I went to Home Depot and bought some sand paper, spray paint, plexi-glass, and epoxy. I sanded down all the rough edges and spray painted. Then I sanded off all the spray paint because I did a really crappy job. Then I spray painted again and did a fantastic job. When I was done spray painting, I hand painted the details, glued the plexiglass window in, hooked up the blinking LED fan and sound activated light and put my computer back together. I had modded my first case. It's still one of my favorites; The Amazing Spider Case!  It's still one of my favorites. I was so excited about the job I did, I listed it on Ebay. It sold almost instantly

I have since done more than two dozen extremely creative cases. Most sold on Ebay, some were private commissions. Some were gifts. Each one a little better then the last one. I know use a dremel and a jig saw with a metal blade for my cutting. I also use the dremel for shaping and sanding. With experience, my methods and materials improved. I use the highest quality paints, sand papers and materials. Instead of unstable adhesives, I use heavy duty double sided tapes. I have done a wide variety of cases using different window shapes and dozens of colors.

Why do you need a Custom Computer Case Mod?

Because it's really cool! I mean really, you don't. No one does. I guess from a practical standpoint, having dual fans increase your PC's airflow thereby cooling it better and making it run more efficiently. But having a Custom Computer Case Mod is an excellent way to express your individuality. It's you favorite sports team, your favorite music group, your heritage, the flag of your ancestral country or home state, it's colors and lights and windows and sounds. It's a way to see what going on inside the box and thinking outside the box! It's whatever theme you want, on display for all to see. It's an extraordinary and unique conversation piece! Also, it's really cool!

What you get:

You get a brand new computer case modded to your specifications with a an ATX power supply, power cord, case wiring, one colored, blinking LED blowhole style fan, and a sound activate neon or cold cathode colored light.

What kind of case?

Well, that's up to you. Use your imagination, or give me an idea and let me use mine. Your favorite pro or college sports team. Your favorite superhero. Your favorite superhero, or flag, or toy, or car, or animal. What's your interest or hobby? What do you collect. Like cows? I'll do a cow case. Boats? I'll do a boat case. Like I said, use you imagination. If you can think it up, I can mod it onto a computer case.
